The exhibition explores that suspended moment between consciousness and sleep: the transition into wakefulness, when dreamlike images still linger and reality has yet to fully take shape.
Color functions as a reflection of this transitional state. The gradients evoke both natural and emotional landscapes, creating an atmosphere that draws upon the language of dreams and memory.
The exhibition’s iconography unfolds as a system of symbols associated with different emotional states. The pixelated heart references the digital world and the idea of an extra life in a video game; the rain cloud represents a life-giving force; and the palm tree appears as a symbol of residence. Together, these elements form a symbolic universe that invites the viewer to enter a space of reverie.
The works inhabit a hybrid territory between painting and sculpture. Surfaces, volumes, and materials come together to expand the traditional boundaries of both media, creating objects that exist simultaneously as images and as physical presences within the space.
